My Bathroom Renovation.

Finally after 11 years I have made my way through my house to the bathroom and toilet, making my little reno just about done.  Laundry next, not in a huge hurry for that space. This has been a slow reno as I'm doing this on my own, nothing wrong with that as I get all the say. :)  This is a reno like no other, if you don't know, I work in flooring 4 days a week.  Obviously I have learnt after 20 years in flooring how to use this medium to it's best potential.  I've had this little plan in my head for quite a few years, in that time I have help customers with their bathroom makeovers using my idea and making them extremely happy.  So now it is time. What did I do? - When you are on a budget and you know your flooring, I did what every good decorator does... you work with what you have.  I had sheet vinyl installed over the floor tiles. With a quick skim coat by my installer to fill in the grout lines of the tiles it was ready to lay.  Then then my next installer came into install my Karndean 2mm vinyl planks to the tiled areas of the walls and skirts.  These are flooring vinyl planks, totally water proof and easy to work with. Then came my plumber to install the vanity that sat in my garage for 8 years... :)  all my inclusions and my custom made vanity top, solid Spotted Gum timber. It is just stunning! My biggest expense and well worth it! All my selections are totally water proof, no grout and easy to maintain.  Is that not the perfect wet area?
